Rules & Regulations - 12 Days of Starlight Promotion
Beginning Monday, December 11th, 2023, each donation made towards the 12 Days of Starlight® promotion for $10 or more puts the donor in the running to win the Starlight Prize Pool (check back daily to see the updated Prize Pool list).
Donors who prefer to make an offline donation may call Starlight Children's Foundation Canada's office at 450-700-1212 to make the donation by credit card. This type of donation will also entitle the donor to entry into the Starlight Prize Pool promotion. As call volume may be high at certain times, please leave a message and a Starlight staff member will return your call.
Cheque or cash donations are also accepted for entry into the Starlight Prize Pool promotion. All offline donations must be received by December 22nd, 2023 by 4:00pm (EST) to be eligible. Cheques may be sent directly to Starlight Canada's office at: 1805 Transcanada, Dorval, QC H9P 1J1. Please do not send cash by mail.
To be eligible to win the Starlight Prize Pool, donations must be made to the 12 Days of Starlight (online or by phone) by 4:00pm (EST) on December 22nd, 2023 with complete donor information. Incomplete entries (missing name/last name/address/phone number) will be disqualified. All entries shall become the property of Starlight Canada.
The Prize Pool is updated every morning to include the newest additions generously donated by local businesses. New prizes will be accepted until 12:00pm (EST) on December 23rd, 2023.
The winner of the Starlight Prize Pool will be contacted by phone. One winner will go home with the entire pool of prizes. The winner will be contacted by phone immediately following the draw at the phone number provided with their donation. Identification must be produced to receive the prize package. The prizes are not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded. Prize values as indicated on the prize pool list are approximate values only and may vary.
By claiming the prizes, the winner authorizes the use – without additional compensation of his or her name, likeness, voice/photograph and/or municipality of residence – for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner, and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage), which Starlight Canada deems appropriate.
In accepting the prizes, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that Starlight Canada may not be held liable for any loss, damages, or injury associated with accepting or using the prizes. Winners and any guests at the age of majority must sign a release form as prepared and accepted by Starlight Canada, acknowledging their acceptance, and understanding of these complete promotion rules.
Employees of Starlight Canada, such employees' immediate family members, and persons with whom such employees reside are excluded from this contest.
Tax receipts will be issued by Starlight Canada, in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines, for all monetary donations made through the 2023 - 12 Days of Starlight Campaign.
Starlight Canada will keep the website open to encourage donors to continue making donations past this promotion deadline to help make a difference in the lives of seriously ill children this holiday season.
